Presenting in Sydney / Something to vote for
I presented a session on designing & managing high performance indexes at the Sydney SQL Server User Group tonight - had a great time & scored a nice bottle of Shiraz from McLaren Vale from local UG organiser Grant Paisley (thanks Grant!). We had some solid questions from the floor & one lucky fellow won both prizes - a copy of Kalen's latest book & a set of TechEd 2006 DVDs.
I also noticed a Microsoft Connect suggestion which I think it worth voting for: "CREATE OR REPLACE". So many people have been bawling for this for so many years, I really hope it gets included in the next SQL Server release. If you've got a moment, vote for it here:
