The next version of SQL Server should be a blast!

Whilst reading Simon Winchester's "Krakatoa: The Day the World Exploded" (an interesting account of the biggest volcanic explosion in recorded history) this week, I learned that Katmai was one of only four or five volcanic explosions which scientists believe ever to have been larger & more devastating than Krakatoa, which exploded west of Java in 1883, killing ~ 36,000 & affecting global weather patterns for some time following.

In case you're not aware already, Microsoft's code name for the next release of SQL Server is Katmai so it should be a blast (hopefully without the death & destruction)!!
